For me, having the reply above the quote is much more aesthetically pleasing. Sorry I can't help you :) Can you please start doing it my way? @hyena, can you post your replies UNDERNEATH the quotes please as is the norm; it makes a mess of threads if you go the opposite direction to everyone else.

I am not gullible. I have a sarcastic sense of humour and can keep up with the best of them or at least I am not affected by stupid pranks. I'll just smile and make some sarcastic remark or roll my eyes and smile.

The experience machine is a thought experiment. From Wikipedia: Nozick asks us to imagine a machine that could give us whatever desirable or pleasurable experiences we could want. Psychologists have figured out a way to stimulate a person's brain to induce pleasurable experiences that the subject co...

That's wonderful. Much better to not be autistic. It's horrible.

You are not arrogant. I ate less healthy before going vegan. As a result of it my diet is much healthier. It was beneficial for me as well as reducing harm to animals. Don't stress, I do understand your point of view, and I respect it (really, I get it), I'm just trying to describe mine. I haven't r...

Matthew 15:1-9 15 Then some Pharisees and teachers of the law came to Jesus from Jerusalem and asked, 2 ?Why do your disciples break the tradition of the elders? They don?t wash their hands before they eat!? 3 Jesus replied, ?And why do you break the command of God for the sake of your tradition? 4 ...

I think in general, people with AS tend to miss others less than NTs.

Which products? It may be possible that without knowing we may use a product that contains some sort of animal ingredient. But it is unintentional. That would be rare, and we still contribute very little to animal cruelty. Just because it may currently be impossible to avoid all of them does not mea...

It only takes a day for extermination and enslavement if the conqueror wishes it. It is interesting that for all their might the Spartans proved themselves gentler than the Athenians. Around the same time, an Island state was not submitting to Athens so Athens massacred them after beating them. Acco...

Jesus had some nasty parts to him too. Eg. he asked people why they don't kill disobedient children in one instance. He clearly endorses the Old Testament. I.e. I came to fulfill the law and not to change it. Don't remember which book that was in but I can find out if you want me to. He clearly endo...

The air quality will certainly improve. No one needs dimwits with the critical thinking skills of 12 year olds, who prefer personal insults over debate. As much tempting as it is to debate with trolls who are pretending to be fascists, I'm not going to... Enjoy the consternation you cause. I won't b...

Most Christians believe in hell and endorse it. I would say most see nothing wrong with those stories of the Bible. At least they condone those stories. I don't hate the ones who don't, but I would call them confused rather than Jews, Christians and Muslims. Take the story of Abraham for example. Th...

The point of life is to reach fulfillment in this life, not to leave behind a strong foundation for others (let the slaves do that). If you made some contribution to learning but were a slave, unloved and disrespected I would say your life was less successful than someone who made no such contributi...
