I took the e harmony questionnaire. I answered straight down the middle to most of questions (the agree with - disagree with continuum) because I really didn't know the answers. I suppose many with AS would have trouble answering those questions. I for one don't identify my feelings that well, I hav...

I am a slow reader, sort of. I average about 20 pages a minute. There are many exceptions to this average speed. I can read George Orwell's Animal Farm at a rate of about 30 pages per hour but his essay Shoothing an Elephant will go much slower. I think I had to reread the later ten or more times be...

I want the opportunity to use myself. I want to find a place and a way that I can use myself. This modern world and the people that inhabit it bring me down. I have great abilities but struggle to use them. I want to succeed in making this world better or at least be able to try.

Chester, a.k.a; Mr. Stinky, Mr. Fuzzy, Fuzzy Winker Bean, Mr. Beaner Man, Ugly Actor, Beastor, and other aliases is my best friend. Also he is my vacuum cleaners worst enemy. I really do walk him 4-6 miles daily! Why? When I was in the first grade my parents got a dog for our family. Like many paren...

I gave up glasses ten years ago and switched to contacts but contacts are frustrating too. The last pair of glasses I had were those titanium alloy frames, the flexible kind, and I remember enjoying showing off their unique ability. I am currently thinking of switching back to glasses. I may invest ...

I assume that you are the mother of [System] neutron189. I spoke with him earlier in the chat room. He is hilarious! He is also very clever. I have never been so captivated by a ten year old, I am 28. I felt awkward talking to such a young person so I am glad to know that you are also member. As I a...

I love reading your posts, enigma. You are very expressive. Even when I don't share an experience with you I am still able to make an emotional connection because of the way you write. You are very talented. I think you should find a way to get published. Where I live there is a local paper that pub...

I show many of the same interests as you. I tried to stay out of the obsession threads as my obsessions are time consuming and didn't want to reignite the ones that have smoldered over time. I also know that many others on wrongplanet.net share your interests as well. I would point them out to you b...

I have yet to get an official diagnosis but I should be getting one here in the next few weeks. As for getting to this website and believing that I have AS without a professional opinion, about two months ago I found a book laying on the kitchen desk called, "Asperger's Syndrome" (the Tony Attwood o...

Now that I've discovered aspergers syndrome and done some reading in to it, I've discovered.... Sorry, I just had to do that. But seriously, Yes, I do it often. Most often it occurs when I am concentrating on something else or if they ask me a simple question like, "Did you go to work today?" The wo...

So far I have refrained from using the term NT but I can no longer resist. NTs don't know how to park. It will take 25 minutes to drive to school and another two hours to park. For some reason it is acceptable to block traffic if you are waiting on a parking space. There is adequate parking at my sc...

I have to decide what I have to part with and take to the dump since I can't haul everything with me when I go off to school, and dad won't let me keep my stuff in the basement. The dump is a horrible, horrible place. I've tried to tell my Dad that one day terrorists may break into our house ...

Hey Tom. Have you ever thought about preparing some kind of general form email that you could send off to lots and lots of meteorologists. Telling them about your interest in meteorology, your condition and limitations. I am sure that you could find hundreds of direct email addresses to TV Weatherme...
