What if it were legal?

Ive smoked on and off for past 10 years roughly. Ive had no ill-effects other than being sleepy or groggy the next morning. Which fades after an hour. I smoke because it shuts up my brain constantly analyzing everything. However it will allow to be more focused on subjects I have interests in and ca...

i've had extremely vivid and realistic dreams since i was a child. I've woken up crying, and have made faint screams at times as well. I still have a vivid dream at least once a week, sometimes up to 3-4 times a week, just depends on my mood.

Don´t fall for the stereotypes! It's not a stereotype, it's actually one of the central aspects of autism. People with autism have a poor theory of mind, which makes it harder to empathise with other people. Not sympathise, which is what you're probably thinking of, and confusing it with. Nothing t...

I can relate to the OP. I often find myself having difficulty carrying on more casual conversations (I get bored or don't find the jokes funny enough to laugh along with), but when someone describes a negative emotional experience I empathize so much I wind up having a meltdown. My empathic ability...

The prime requirement for any diagnosis of ASD is that the various traits cause significant impairment of functionality on a regular basis in one or more areas. Do you find that any of the traits you describe cause significant impairment in your functionality on a regular basis? If not, then clinic...

The interesting thing is that as a child, i heard looking someone in the eye while talking is a sign of respect and confidence. Once i heard that, i went out of my way to do it, to get accustomed to it, so i could be "normal". Now, i can look people in the eyes when i talk, though i do shift my gaz...

What you are describing definately could be AS Think about it, a large proportion of people with AS describe the experience of eye contact as being too intense to handle. They commonly describe looking at the eyes as difficult because they "contain too much information". In other words, those peopl...

Given the traits you describe, I would say HSP fits you better than Asperger's. I have yet to find any scientific support for the validity of the "empath" idea, though you may know things I don't. With regard to seeing numbers in colour, that is a phenomenon known as colour-grapheme synesthesia, an...

It sounds like you are looking for descriptions to understand your experience and maybe communicate about it. It is a common misperception that people with AS and autism lack empathy. It's easy to empathize with what we experience ourselves, harder to empathize when the other persons experience or ...

HSP can be socially awkward because we understand how the person feels, but they aren't telling us how they feel. So it feels like i'm being lied to, and when called out, people shut down or get silent and don't talk to me. So i have to tone that down, and just adds another layer of micromanagement...

My next point is that, i'm also on the opposite side in terms of Empathy. I can easily put myself into other's shoes when in conversation, i can see their points, and why they think that way. That must be nice for you. :P I spend my life constantly confused by how other people think. I don't unders...

We can't diagnose you here. Could I ask where you live that there's no medical care available to you? There are many places where mental health clinics take people who don't have any ability to pay. Not looking for diagnosis on the internet, simply information due to how closely some of these terms...

So i've been searching for years on what is "different" about me. I've read quite a bit and had a few breakthroughs the past couple years. I first started by finding out my personality type is INTJ. So, i'm quite introverted and extremely logical. Yet, i have several oddity's and sensitivities that ...
