[in a reverberant, ghostly voice] Buy a new motherboard, Nambo :). EnglishInvader: Building your own machine is the best way, in my humble view. Don't scrimp on the Power supply, better to start with more available power than you need, that allows for expansion later on. If you are going Ix, may I r... |

:D @ tallyman A government-guaranteed token as an enhancement to the barter system. Taken at face value, it behaves in much the way that an unregulated free market does - it resembles the natural workings of biology, of cellular metabolism - the cut and thrust and give and take of life itself. Hi Nambo. I think only one of the plugs will fit in the socket. I think that will be the one with pins with curved sides at opposite corners. Did you get the board to start without it connected? 8O As to the graphics card, I can't help you much with that one. When you power up the board, does the ca... |

Sounds to me like you are talking about the ATX processor power connector. It supplies power direct to the CPU, as I understand it. It started out as a four pin connector for P4 processors IIRC but nowadays also comes in six and eight pin. If you are really lucky the eight pin connector will come ap... |

Fascinating. I'm not a scientist, but I do feel there is something rather amiss with the notion of black holes. Apparently so does Steven Hawking.
Perhaps this will save Steve Carlip et. al. the hassle of explaining just how gravity escapes from "black holes"? |
