I find that the more that I use I in conversation, the more I am drawing people's attentions to my ego . If I say I too much, i can become all too self aware, i can end up feeling embarrassed because i more easily lose my place, I throw in a few Umm's and Arr's here and there and I am suddenly lost.

Does that really happen? If so, that's really oppressive. Not only does this mean that somebody stealing ...

How many "perfectly normal" people out there go through their lives angry and controlling, never even being able to acknowledge even the slightest possibility that they have problems? I know some. I believe myself to be pretty controlling and often angry at myself and the world, particularly when de...

Granted, however your dreams become so subtle that eventually you lose your ability to dream at all. Every time you lie down to sleep you immediately enter deep sleep, perceivably waking up immediately after you put your head down. Whilst deep sleep is more restful, the fact remains that you never f...

Hi everyone. I'm new and I have ADHD and a best friend who is an Aspie. I love obsessive conversations myself, so to get to know you all better, i wanted to start a game. The game goes as follows. I start by introducing a fun statistical fact or probability about the known universe. I cite the fact ...

I am not sure I agree that no one genuinely cares about other humans though I am quite convinced there are lots who don't. Also, if one has no outlet and has just keep it all to them self, wouldn't that lead to more suicidal feelings? I suppose that is why there is Hersey and certain internet forum...

Hi all I'm new to the forums, having just been diagnosed with ADHD. I was hoping to join an autism community as opposed to a ADHD community as i have found in the past that i get along much better with people with Aspergers, because I actually find their conversations more stimulating than others. M...
