I'm not sure which of my conditions, my asperger's or my so-called ADD, that has had the most deteriorating effect on my life, because I have some difficulties distinguishing between the two, and I may even confuse some of my "symptoms" with personality traits. I'll have to check with the ...

When I was in my early teens my friends told me that I looked confused and gave me the nickname "Confuzed" after a local punk band . (For this reason I chose Confuzed as my first screen name.) I guess in my case, looking confused is more a symptom of ADD than it is a symptom of autism/aspe...

I know from experience that if I had no Internet, I would get a lot more things done, I would exercise more, and I would read books. Because what I do on the Internet is mostly to goof around and waste time. The only thing I would miss about not having access to the Internet is that I couldn't find ...

My favorite racing game is, by far, Stunts. They never made a sequel to this game though, and thus it does not qualify as a game series.

There's a crazy cat lady in my neighborhood who's 5 cats lay "kitty mines" all over my property, even in my carport, yet I still kind of like her cats. They keep me with entertainment and they keep my house from getting infested with mice.

I can relate to most of what OP has written, but this could just as well be because her traits and experiences are somewhat common among introverts. Avoidance of eye contact, however, is a trait that stands out as it is one of the more reliable indicators of asperger's syndrome. The same goes for ha...

I agree with cathylynn. You told her you had a bad day and that you were sorry, she can't ask more of you. I would just go on acting like I didn't dislike her; she would have to be convinced of this eventually. I definitely would not tell a person who held a grudge against me that I had asperger's, ...

My advice is not to make a big deal out of opening up to him. He has already dated another girl and therefore should not be put off by the thought of going on a date with you. If you ever get a chance to talk to him in private, you should speak what's on your mind. After all, what's the worst that c...

When were you diagnosed? At the age of 24. How did you find this website? I was first made aware of Wrong Planet when I was diagnosed with Asperger's; WP was listed as an online resource in a compendium that the psychiatrist gave me, and I believe she even mentioned it specifically as I website I o...
