I got bullied. I literally was stalked throughout the school day and on my way home by people who wanted to hurt me. This wasn't a here or there thing. It was so bad the school had to step in several times and my parents had to drive me to and from school. I was deemed the weird kid and that is why ... |

I hate when strangers touch me but crave touch from family and friends. When I am having an episode, my husband holding me or touching me can bring me back to reality. |

Complete opposite. I cannot stand too much stuff. Our place is very Spartan, it rivals District 13. |

I can pass for a high school senior or college student in my early 30s. This has actually been really nice as we live in a college town and when I moved here people would give me a discount thinking I was a college student....four years later I have yet to correct them. 10% off adds up! |

Yep, I am easily overwhelmed and stressed out. But I am also. type-A personality so unsure if that is related to ASD or me being a perfectionist. |

I am very very lucky to be married to a man who may not understand what I am going through but tries his best. He is very supportive of me not working if it ever comes to that and for getting any and all help that I might need. I really won the lottery with him, I was so afraid of getting hurt again... |

A good therapist is very helpful. Mine is the one who encouraged me to finally pursue diagnosis. I will miss him terribly when we lease here. |

The trauma was trying to fit in before I knew about possibly being an Aspie. Now that I know why I would never fit in it was a relief. I thought it was something about my personality...which it sort of is but not something I can control. |

I would guess I am high functioning as I have been able to easily get good paying jobs, graduated college (though my grades kind of stunk even after high grades throughout grade school) and have been married to a great guy for nearly five years. I am very organized and budget well, even figuring how... |

I am either grey-asexual or demisexual. I do not become sexually attracted without feel emotional bonds and the only person I have ever wanted sex with was my husband. Previous boyfriends I only slept with because that is what I thought you had to do in a relationship. |

There is nothing wrong with being ladylike if that is your personality type. I dance the line between being tactless and tactful. That is why females always want me to go shopping with them, because I tell the truth! |
