Yeah, this is extremely common. I have it too and I am notified of fire drills also. The PA thing is a little bit odd though. It doesn't bother me as much and at the most startles me slightly. I was diagnosed when I was 10. My 3rd grade teacher suspected I had something and told my mother. The school tested me and said I was fine, but we got a second, and third, opinion and they both said I had aspergers.

Solitary Shell by Dream Theater absolutely. I prefer their heavier stuff but the lyrics are spot on for people with AS.

It's completely normal for people on the spectrum to not want to socialize. I myself only socialize with a select group of people at my school.
