I am the worst at starting conversations in general, I have no idea how to do it, plus I have really bad social anxiety. However, there's this guy I like, he's a little older and we've only talked once or twice. I have never actually liked someone, so I have absolutely no idea how to approach such a... |

Hi! You may have seen some of my posts on here with multiple questions about Asperger's and myself. I've received a diagnosis from my psychologist. I was originally misdiagnosed with AD/HD, which happens to many people with Asperger's based on what I have read. It took me a long time to come to term... |

In a couple of days, I will be going to my first appointment at the psychologist for Asperger's, and I am a slightly nervous because I don't have the faintest idea of what to expect. I know it can take long... How long does it normally take? I want to know what to expect, or I will be very nervous. ... |

I'm going to get checked out for Asperger's syndrome very soon, since I strongly believe I have it and (now) so does my mother. But, I am just curious about something. I really didn't notice I repeat things until my mom asked my why I always repeated questions or requests instead of answering, howev... |

I just joined marching band and I love it so much. It's one of the only places I can talk, because everyone there shares a common interest in music. Conversation and meeting people is much easier, because usually people approach you. I've not been given small talk yet and from what I can see (althou... |

I am sorry for possibly annoying you with an "I am worried that I have Asperger's and I don' to know what to do" post, but I am alone in a tough situation right now. I really do think I have Asperger's or something of the sort, and really have no one in my life that is willing to listen or help. Ok,... |

I have very bad focusing problems brought on by my AD/HD. My problems have gotten progressively worse. I absolutely love reading, and could easily focus on it in the past, but now my problems are so bad I can't even focus on it. My adderall usually helps, but I'm only allowed to have it during schoo... |

Good afternoon. I am a thirteen year old girl, and after doing much research, I strongly suspect I have Asperger's syndrome. I understand online research is not reliable, which is why I wish to receive a proper diagnosis. However, I am unsure about how to approach my mother and father. My parents ar... |
