I think it is to get them into the mind set to work out. Like, if they stay in regular clothes, they cannot motivate to go out. I know a lot of people who need to change their attire to change activities. I know I have more energy to get things done if I get dressed instead of staying in pajamas all...

I'm not sure I even see the issue with bullying. It's part of life. The stronger always attack the weak, the ones who want to be stronger try to look stronger by picking on the weak. The few actual leaders protect their flock. We're animals. I don't see why this is such a bad thing. *confused*

My parents were from an area where people were overly polite so they drummed in manners to me from the time I was first learning to talk.

I have BEAUTIFUL manners. It's the rest of the social skills I'm lacking LOL.

Yes. I'm not much of a junk food eater anymore.

I found I can eat bread from Great Harvest without getting sick (in small, rare amounts) because they grind their own wheat and then sour dough it!! ! It's very exciting LOL.

Glad it works for you :) I personally think low fat is bloody dangerous as your body uses fats to build almost everything, especially neurologically, but if it works for you... *shrugs*

You have to be careful on high protein. It burns out your kidneys.

My format is all messed up on posting. I'm on FF 4.0 beta 7. The subject line is practically non existent and I cannot see what I've typed and this area has a drag down so I'm able to adjust it all right. The polls don't have a place for me to fill them out. And I cannot double space in this area. I...

Does anyone else do low carb? I love it. High fat, medium protein, pretty low carbs. My autism is muchly easier to deal with now. Fewer meltdowns, more focus. Plus I love to cook and so it was an all new area from which to learn foods.

Hi. I'm the parent of a 10 yr old Aspergers boy. Over the last year I have noticed a pattern of behaviour, where about once every 6-8 weeks he displays more agitated behaviour which eventually ends up in a meltdown . . . and then he seems a lot calmer. What I am trying to work out is whether a melt...

This doesn't refer to really making friends so I thought the friends/social skills board wouldn't work out so I posted on here instead. How did you learn Social Skills? Did you keep making mistakes until you forced yourself to change? Give up trying to fit in (Introvert/no job/etc.) I let my guard ...
