Han shot first he extended universe is still canon, in my opinion. Also, saying tothat "only a Sith deals in absolutes" is in and of itself an absolute, therefore it's a self-contradicting statement as it was made by a Jedi. Jedis aren't perfect, they strive to be emotionless, celibate, p...

But in Return Of The Jedi, Yoda tells Luke, "you either do, or you do not - there is no try." Isn't that an absolute? I interpret it as the result of the actions matter in the end & not the effort put into it. nick007 I can honestly say I've personally never heard that take on it, or ...

The statement does not assume what will happen, and with time travel there is no absolute. Though, my thoughts are not an absolute either. My thoughts are driven by Absolut - vodka that is! See what I did there? Time travel? Time has little to do with infinity and jelly donuts. Fans of Magnum PI wi...

"Only a Sith …" is an absolute. And before you can do anything, whether it's playing the Appassionata or scratching your butt, you have to try to do it. "There is no try" makes no sense at all. They are entertaining movies, but you sure don't want to think too hard about them. D...

Currently pump gas at a station. Made a mistake, got docked $30 pay on Wednesday. Ride the bus with one transfer to get there. Takes about half an hour to 40 minutes to get there - $5 a day commute. The 2 older brothers who own the station/garage are major a-holes, so I decided to quit. F 'em!

...obviously if I can get a date in the first place I am doing something right... Sweet leaf, unless you're primarily meeting guys over the internet first. Ones who scout you anonymously within your agreed meeting place, decide they don't like what they see, then bail on you standing you up, I'd pu...

Whatever the deal is about people not keeping interest in you is a little odd. It's hard to get an accurate read on someone over the internet, though from your posts you seem pretty cool, thoughful and interesting. Try not to let it get to you too much. Well I know with one he had a possessive ex, ...
