From my experience, its not unusual that new employees relax after a few weeks into their kind of normal status. Its natural to show oneself at ones best. You should not be so harsh with youself. Its great you impressed them and got the job! You probably just have not yet found the right job for you...

My son, six years and Aspie, is exactly the same. Its all ok till I pick him up from Kindergarten.
