I disagree. Autistic people aren't better than "normal" people. Some people with autism join the military and drink etc too.
There's no "we". Not every person with autism thinks the same way as you do.

I've had to deal with gossip before. There was a rumour that a friend who I used to me close with and I fancied each other because we used to playfight (we used to pull each other's hair just to annoy the living hell out of each other and to make each other laugh) and study together. I guess it's b... |

I think I might have this. Lexical-gustatory synesthesia. Certain words evoke vivid tastes. E.g. "frosty" tastes of hot buttery croissants and "good" tastes of cold strawberry yoghurt. "Yoghurt" itself has a sour lemon-like taste. I can think, hear, or read the words a... |

I don't know what my reputation is on here.
In school, I'm called hard working by my peers and teachers. I'm probably known for being very shy, quiet and nervous by people in school. I'm known for getting nervous and stressed out easily. |

If I could vote, I would never vote for UKIP. Privatisation of the NHS, leaving the EU, destroying wind farms and a xenophobic party leader. Hell, no!
I'd vote for either Labour Party or the Green Party. |

I didn't take refuge in a maths book when I was 4 or 5. I couldn't understand maths at that age. I took refuge in reading books though which my teachers didn't seem to mind (I learned to read when I was about two-and-a-half). When I was six years old, I remember my teacher giving me a Level 7 (for ... |

There is an app called Magic Fluids (there is a free and a full version) by Mad Scientist which I find to be very comforting, relaxing and stimworthy.
Another app is called Miracle Modus which was created by an autistic person for people with autism. This app is also free. |

I think this happened to me last week. I remember feeling extremely angry and hurt towards someone and knew that it was going to build up into a huge meltdown if I didn't do anything soon. It was at lunch break in school and I couldn't find a quiet place. I shut down at the beginning of biology cla... |

No, I can't detect minute sounds or be able to listen to a recording at all if it's on extremely low volume like 2-3 even with my hearing aids operating. I'm as deaf as a post. But if I have my hearing aids in and they're plugged into my laptop, I can tell if the volume has decreased or increased f... |

I go to a special school for deaf students. When I was in mainstream school, I achieved above average marks but that was only because I had to study lots to make up for what I missed in classes because I had no support at all. |

Pathology. Most of my classmates are disgusted by diseases (even my classmates in my biology class). I like reading about pathology and diseases (symptoms, effects, causes, treatment etc) in my spare time. I was once explaining the Ebola virus to my grandmother and ending up going on and on. She co... |

I haven't been accused of faking my autism before, but I've been accused of "using my deafness for an excuse" by others before. A few years ago, my older cousin told me to stop using my deafness as an "excuse" when I had to ask him to repeat himself several times. I didn't respo... |

I'm a very shy person. What I've found helps is being spoken to and treated to equally, and not being forced out of my "shell". If you initiate the conversation, that can really help too. Ask them about themselves and take the time to listen to them. Share your interests with them. I agre... |
