Thanks for the welcome. :) I'm an hourly manager at a fast food restaurant. It was the first job I got years ago (I worked my way up to manager). I never intended to stick with it so long, but I've gotten used to it, and I'm not really sure how to find something else. I've quit twice already and mov... |

Also, during Air Force Basic, I believed I was destined to become a world hero. I kept an amethyst stone with me and believed that I was going to be sent to a mission over North Korea and shot down. I would then journey through China and the Himalayas and discover magical power, bringing it back in... |

I joined this site recently and posted a few times in other areas, but I thought I might as well come here and say hi. Hi. :) Anyway, I've never been diagnosed, but I've suspected for about a year now that I was somewhere on the spectrum. The chances are very likely as autism does run in my family (... |

Problem is, like you mentioned, how does one use executive functions that are dysfunctional to achieve the goals of a healthy executive function? THIS ^ It's good to know that someone else can relate! I feel like I'm stuck in a pit with high, flat walls and everyone at the top says "just climb out"... |

The school I first attended was a ministry school that was founded by a large church, and it wasn't accredited. The school closed down a year after the hurricane hit. I might be able to transfer some credits if I go to another school founded by a church of the same denomination. There is one on the ... |

I barely graduated from high school due to poor executive function (now I know what to call it!) and apathy towards school due to depression and boredom and anxiety. After awhile, I didn't really care. My ACT test scores were top 10th percentile, but I graduated with a C average (2.5 GPA). College w... |

I know a girl who wears non-prescription glasses because they make her look smarter. She told me that was the only reason for them. It seems a bit ridiculous to me, since I've been stuck with corrective lenses since I was 10. Why would you wear them if you didn't need them?! She has this shirt that ... |

Hi guys! Reading through this, and I feel like I need to share something that happened to me a few years back. I am not diagnosed with autism, but I can relate to many of you who have been diagnosed. One particular problem I have is when I talk to guys, I get really shy and come across as flirty. Th... |

I'm looking for fellow female Aspie gamers, preferably in their/around 20's, and preferably Christian ones at that. I feel like I'm always in the minority when it comes to playing games, because I'm a female, an Aspie, and a Christian. Most gamers I know are definitely guys, either younger or older... |

I dont know what I am, and I haven't been diagnosed, and not sure if it would do any good to diagnose at this point, because its only become a problem in relation to my husband.
