I thought Pres. Obama had passed something recently that gave all kids free healthcare? I ... You're right. It is just a war on the middle class. There WAS a time when you had to have an INTEREST in society, and had to pay a poll tax. Because they decided it was unfair to some, they abolished it. T...

Your story reflects mine in many ways. I was that evil clueless depressed husband. You make it sound like you were looking at me, when you described it. IMHO based on the things you said, I would suggest to you that he is an ASPIE, and in a state of depression. You need to do something about this. I...

She is two years old, reasoning won't work. You have something she wants. You can start to help shape her behavior. I would probably limit it to one lolly per day max. I would suggest that you teach her to put it on a plate when she is done with it, so she can come back to it later. You and your hub...

My evil daughter age 16 wants an eye brow ring.
Mom said no.
Jokingly I said, yes. If I get to install it.

/*
insert mental picture of daddy with a dirty awl, and no anasthesia,
and a very frightened looking teen.
*/

When she hits 18, I will reconsider, lol

We were in much the same situation as your are. My evil boy was bored at school, and frequently slept for the first two hours of classes. He is obsessed with online gaming of many sorts. We put a password on his computer account. He can only get on, when we let him on. We worked on the skill of gett...

Yes. You should be ready to arrange an IEP at the drop of a hat. A more important step, is to get an official looking letter from his old teachers, detailing the problems they see, and what techniques were effective in helping him deal with them. Don't throw away that old experience. It is worth som...

Parents are made, not born. Ya do, what ya gotta do for the benefit of your kid, end of story. Your kid molds you. You mold your kid. It's a relationship. It's a constantly evolving relationship. Nobody outside of the parents and child can really understand what is right and not right. Childless per...

Never underestimate the power of M&Ms.

Make it clear.
Correct behavior on the potty.... 2 M&Ms
