Leave. You are not winning someone's trust or showing them you have what it takes to love her. There will never be a day where you prove yourself and the tests stop. She will get worse and worse and make more confusing demands as long as you keep enabling her. This woman may be ready to date someday... |

"Well if immature is running around, going to bars and raves, drinking and getting drunk, smoking the occasional joint and having sex with someone on the first, second, or third date, then people with AS generally aren't, and NT's generally are. " I agree that it's stupid. I've heard lots... |

Personally I think Aspie women should be less condescending and sneering to immature AS men, unless those men are being blatantly misogynist. Aspie women have maturity thrust upon them, with the pressures on them and the fact that men are more often predatory/forceful. I'm not saying it's a fun life... |

Personally - and this is me talking about the specific culture I live in - I have believed for years that the main place Aspies fall down in flirting is the "play fighting" aspect. For example when I was at work a woman came to a male colleague and asked for the walkie-talkie, and he said ... |

In the countries where Chess is big, like Russia, they put more effort into training men and boys. A female would not get the same pushes or chances/pressure to practice. Though I've always thought it was stupid that they divide Chess tournaments by gender, as its not a physical sport. |

another red flag for me. That drugged, dead- eyed look of dopey aggression - the Britanny Murphy/Courtney Love/ Lana Del Rey/Chloe Sevigny look. |

I don't think it's possible to "learn all about NT women", they're a vastly varied group ranging from shy and studious to loud, dumb and aggressive. Unless it's treating them as human beings which Aspies need to learn to do with all people. |

I'm a mass of tics and stims, blinking, tapping, gulping loudly, grabbing any small object to throw in the air and catch again. I was always in trouble for it as a kid. Sorry to hear you've had a rough c-ptsd giving life NyxBean. |

to be fair though, the threat of assault/stalking probably cancels out being bored by women's bad social skills or the horribleness of judged by your wealth or toughness, though I do think those are genuinely miserable things for male aspies to deal with in dating. |

I like how she could fly in the old SNES Mario. She could be a bit clumsy to play as though. I can't remember which SNES Mario game was which. |

I agree. There's a woman at the autism meetup I go to who is very glamorous and model-looking, and the men in the group crowd round her and beg for her attention like lapdogs. You see her in the cafe we go to, and some of them are on their knees around her. I may have rejected the teachings of PUAs ... |

I knew someone once who had to go around his store, on the first day the Nintendo DS came out, offering turns to customers, with one strapped to his wrist for security, in a kind of handcuff. He heard a rumor that a gang was coming to the store with axes to chop the employees hands off and snatch th... |
