..act as a modem for my computer, so that my PC can have internet access through my blackberry?
I ask because I don't have internet access right now, and I heard that Apple (I think it was them) got in legal trouble for making software which does that, so I was wondering if there's a similar crack that would work for that. I have unlimited data on my blackberry, so it would provide an internet connection suitable for playing chess, Wrongplanet, news, etc.

Yeah I am pretty sure I have heard of this before, and would be a bit shocked to find out that it doesn't exist, but I do not know the name of it. Have you tried google?

Wow, Verizon charges like $30 per month to use my blackberry as a teathered modem, in addition to what I'm already paying! Geez, with free Wi-fi lots of places these day, what would be point of that? The blackberry's extremely slow internet, so that plan's just for suckers.

I wish Verizon would let me use my GPS receiver on my curve for free too!
