Does anyone know of an ISP that lets you run your own web/mail server, preferably for under $50 a month?

http://www.1and1.com

edit: 10GB for $3.99 a month

edit2: if you literally mean "your own server", I think you can walk around the hood and find one in the rubbish bin and hook it up to your own router for free.

Only thing is that the ISP I have now (Comcast) states in its ToS that running a server is against their rules. Hence, why I needed to find an ISP that allows this.

I have a server co-located with 1and1.com . This is a great company to do business with.

I actually took it literally at first glance and thought...
What ISP doesn't allow you to have a server? AOL? No, because (I think) they don't work as badly that way anymore like they used to, as a BBS with limited internet capability. They just (I think they still do) make you install a lot of crap that slows down your computer (like Microsoft does).
But Comcast is famous for sucking! :eew:

Speakeasy has residential DSL plans starting at around $50/month (including a static IP) and is run by clueful people who are happy to let you run any kind of server you want.

Seriously, every single time I've called or emailed them I've reached someone who knew what they were talking about on the very first try.

I think I've heard of them before. Thanks!
