I have a "Toshiba" brand laptop with a 2GHZ processor.
The keyboard has been replaced with an external portable one since I spilled drink on the original. I still have to buy new speakers too since the old ones malfunctioned along with the keyboard...

My hope is that in a few years there will be the technology available to make normal computer stuff work with lithium batteries, then I shall do the impossible and transform the laptop to become an upgradable machine. It will never have to be replaced by a newer model! Yay!

My current PC, including overclocking.

Athlon 3200 overclocked at 2200 with a 1.5 multiplier.
Geforce 6600 GT 128mb overclocked at 550mhz core clock and 1123mhz memory clock
1.5 gb of ram
ASUS A7v600
DVD-RW drive
120 GB HD
7 GB HD
Built in SoundMax sound card.
floppy drive
A heatsink/fan combo on my cpu that sounds like a vacuum, but it cools very well.
Extras: Logitech mx 510 optical mouse, Saitek X52 joystick, HP printer, An old CRT monitor (Must be over 10 years old by now, but it's still faithful)

I need an upgrade for the motherboard. The video card is already aging a bit as well, but I can push it and the processor a little more.

I have 2 computers.
The first 1 is a cirix 300 with win 98, 128 megs of ram, 4 gig hardrive, 2 meg graphics card and a creative 16 bit sound card.

My second computer is a pentium mmx 233 Mhz, 96 megs of ram, 1 gig hardrive 8 meg sis running win98. I use Grafpup linux live CD to use the internet because win 98 is to unsecure.

I usually use my rev.B 1.8GHz DP Power Mac G5 with an ugly 19" CRT. I love the G5 except for when the fans gradually go into 'jet engine mode' when I boot into single-user mode every now and then. Unfortunately right now I'm typing this on my mom's Dell Dimension 8300 at my parents' house. I'll probably buy an Intel Mac in another year or so and install Windows Vista alongside Mac OS 10.5.

Previous computers were: 500MHz "Dual USB" G3 iBook, 400MHz G3 Graphite iMac DVse, Motorola StarMax 3000/200 (crashed all the time -- what was I thinking?), and a Performa 600CD (my family's first computer).

Well, my user name is actually an understatement. I have three computers in on or near my desk -- a work laptop (IBM ThinkPad T41p), a homebuilt AMD Sempron 2500+-based machine, and a homebuilt Intel dual core 2.8GHz-based machine. Then I have a server down the hall that's probably another AMD Sempron machine (not even sure), and downstairs is my wife's machine which is an Intel P4 2.4-GHz-based machine. These are all home-built machines all running Windows 2000 Professional. I also have two old laptops I don't even use in the closet, and I built computers for two of my three kids who live out of the house, which I also maintain for them.

So all in all that makes 9 computers that I own, 7 of which are running productively.

This doesn't count my Palm TX which is where I actually do all my email (Snapper Mail) and keeping track of money accounts (SplashMoney), as well as game playing and Web browsing. I've been known to order from woot.com off my Palm TX while lying in bed at 1 am, or to bid on something on eBay.
