Problems with Sims 2

Any fellow simers out there? I'm having problems with simPE. It refuses to accept some of the downloads and periodically flashs error messages. Has anyone else had this problem?

I LOVE the Sims! It is my most favorite computer game, and I am really happy that Aspyr is working to make it compatible with Macs, so that I should be able (in theory) to have an expansion pack or two to load up (in addition to Sims 2) on my iBook I'm getting in a few months.

But in response to your other questions: No, I've never had that problem because I've not played it yet. Have you checked out the website? Sometimes there are patches there to download, or the forums might have answers...

They can get corrupted, the downloads. Also, they could just be crappy installs to begin with. :\ Reinstalling might help, but don't accicentally uninstall your key game files.
