Only embedded systems, in my mind it is bloody marvellous in any capacity that it is designed for

I have Linux Mint on my laptop, and I think they've managed to put together a pretty nice "workstation" type of environment, with lots of useful software pre-packaged. There are some annoyances, such as the fact that I had to download and compile the driver for my wireless card myself, and sometimes it has problems communicating with the audio system, but they're more than made up for by the fact that as a Linux distro its still a programmer's environment, rather than being targeted mainly to the end user.
