I hate Flash.

Droids are better than iPhones. Haven't found any issues with the UI yet and comparing build quality to the iPhone much better, feels more solid and it feels like you have actually got a phone in your hand. By the way I have a Garmin-Asus Nüvifone A50.

Flash does suck a lot its buggy, its bloated and you are lucky is works half the time just like Adobe Reader.

I found a fix. I used this command:

Code:

kill $(ps -A | grep "[Ff]lash [Pp]layer" | cut -d " " -f 3)

It finds the Flash player plugin in the list of processes and then kills it. Now I just have to put it in my crontab file and have it run that command as frequently as possible.

Why not just uninstall the Flash plugin?

The reason why I hate flash:
1) It can be (mis)used as a substitute for hyperlinking
2) Flash is proprietary
3) You expose yourself to financial penalties if you are in breach of licensing term
4) Flash hasn't been designed to help vision impaired people
5) Flash content can't be indexed by Google

Or just get the flashblock plugin for firefox. Works great, you just click on a flash animation when you want to see it, otherwise everything is disabled...

i hope the "html 5" format replaces flash becasue it seems promising, but adobe would not let it happen in a hurry! :evil:

Do you realize how many (non-ad) sites simply wouldn't work without Flash? AdBlock is your friend.
