There is a piece of software called PDF OCR that allows you to combine a folder full of jpegs into a PDF document, and then (if appropriate) allows you to combine the PDF file into an editable text file. There is a free demo at www.pdfocr.net , but I haven't bought the full version partly because I don't much like the look of their checkout system, and partly because the OCR bit does not look as accurate as it could be.

I would prefer a piece of software that did the first part (converting a bunch of separate files into a single PDF) then converted the scanned PDF into a text PDF. Any recommendations??

Can we get a stylesheet with colors for links in posts? It's pretty hard to distinguish between links and regular text when they are both formatted the same.
