I finally had enough money to buy a Macbook Pro and have taken the gamble. Currently I have a Desktop with Ubuntu on and a Laptop with Windows 7. I wanted something portable with good video editing that was good enough to render HD content well.

I got the best I could afford almost putting my self in ruin. 8O

* 2.0GHz quad-core
Intel Core i7
* 4GB 1333MHz
* 500GB 5400-rpm1
* Intel HD Graphics 3000
* AMD Radeon HD 6490M with 256MB GDDR5
* Built-in battery (7 hours)2
* Mini DisplayPort to VGA Adapter
* Apple Remote
* Extended Apple Care

Apple computers in the UK are about 30% more expensive than the USA. I really want to try iMovie having to have to use Windows Movie Maker live. :D lol I have had few people say get you money back and buy a PC but I also hear if you want to get into editing videos an Apple computer is the best rout to take.

Hackintosh. I know people who've edited entire movies on them.
