13.04 for me.

Any practical improvement between 13.04 and 13.10 that you've noticed?

Windows 7, for virtual machine testing I usually run linux because it's so lightweight and easy to fire up several at a time.

Android for tablet.

Laptop has three main partitions.
1) Ubuntu 12.04 LTS for most everyday stuff,
2) Windows 7 Ultimate for emergencies or Photoshop (I don't like GIMP or WINE), and
3) some random Linux install that I use as a demo for the people that bug me to 'fix' their computers. Depending on the specs of the machine, they either get Mint or Bodhi.

With me, these people get the Ubuntu 12.04 based verson of LinuxMint, it used to be with Mate/Gnome2 desktop, but now XFCE, though I think I'll keep a copy of the KWheezy as well for people who have machines that can handle it.

Lately, I've been running Crunchbang on a trash-picked laptop, and for 99% of what I do day-to-day (forum posting, reading articles, listening to music, watching online videos) it actually works pretty well.

I've also been taking the opportunity to brush up on my Linux-fu, and currently I'm not only running the Debian Sid repros instead of the standard Wheezy ones, but I also have a self-compiled version of the Liquorix 3.12 kernel running. Now I wish I had the source code for Windows XP so that I could compile my own build instead of using one of M$'s builds.
