Why the hell did everybody love myspace, and now it's falling apart and everybody's saying "facebook's better, I don't know why you touched myspace" They're practically the same thing, two competitive heaps of web code! and they change that s**t all the time! before myspace, it was IMing...my IM contacts don't even talk anymore because they keep following "everybody else"

Back in my day all the noobz where posting all sorts of crap no one else cared about on something called Geocities. Bah, some things never change - AND GET OFF OF THE GRASS YOU WHIPPERSNAPPERS!

facebook is evil, it states in its privacy policy that they may collect information on you from Newspapers, Blogs, Instant messengers.... basically to "enhance" your experience.

IRC is quite small but if your mates learn to use it then it'd be ideal for you.

Oh, and also, make your own website. I'm hosted by nonlogic, they're a very good free host. I'd love to donate though, I should ask my parents.
