There is no such thing as a memory stick. Only an amateur would call it this. It's the same as calling a bug a virus and thinking they have a virus when something simple is going on, like the 2 key producing the "@" and ' " ' symbols where it shouldn't on the keyboard. It MUST be a virus.

Y2K38? Shouldn't it just be called 2038 as it's shorter and quicker to write? There are some programs that will take all years up to around 10,000.

I loved the millennium bug epidemic, I have no idea why people said "it's the end of the world", "planes are gonna fall out the sky", "we are all doomed" I even laughed at the YK2 bug screensaver, yes, it was written as YK2.

That wouldnt be nearly nerdy enough, thats why. And it instantly explains a connection to the Y2K problem. Overrated as it was.

As for memory stick, it is the term coined by sony when they released the first of the flash ram based removable memory cards. Are you suggesting that sony, prolific producers of flash storage media, are amateurs?

Tilt your head sideways...

Sorry. I couldnt resist. I know he was talking about ram, not storage media.:D

That's the Sony Memory Stick© A bit of a crap name if you ask me. The whole Y2K38 is just making it sound nerdy, but just making it longer by one digit/letter

My aspie brother, when you get picky about windows version names, it sounds very nerdy. :D So nerdy that computerlove had to water ski over a shark whilst wearing a leather jacket just to counteract it.

Here he is, heading for the ramp.
