Astronauts:
Accuracy: 100%
WPM 68

Test Instructions:
Accuracy: 100%
WPM 94

I can go faster if I'm typing from my head, in particular when I get the urge to shoot a joke out, reading and retyping is a bit slower.

Late edit, I realized why I did so bad on the Astronauts, the names were in quotation marks, and my reflex is to rapidfire [quote] tags, so I had to slow down to get the names exact. The test instructions had no such discord.

If it's coming from my head and I'm awake, around 80ish wpm. But if I'm having to take a typing test and try and read, then comprehend, then type, it's only about 25-30.

Interesting...
Reading what I'm typing makes me type faster.

It probably helps that I think at the speed of light. I am often three or four sentences ahead, coming up with responses to any possible variable thrown at me in either verbal or text communication. Perhaps this is why people do not like me at first, I cannot anticipate a response to a person I do not know and therefore often spend most of the time doing the 'Aspie spew'.

With typing, this is great, because I can think ahead and not have to worry about finishing the thought. It was finished over a minute ago. But with having to read, I have to pause and think about what it is I'm reading, because I cannot just turn this forward thinking on and off.

84 WMP and 100% accuracy.

I'm usually about 93 WMP, but since this test intentionally makes itself more difficult (throwing in capitalization, words we rarely use and thus don't have experience typing so it's not a habit thing, etc) I'm slower on these sorts of things...

I remember in 4th grade I was something like 106 WMP :( Man, what went wrong?

i can type the letter "a" very rapidly.
here is what i could achieve in only 10 seconds (and i did not even have to take my finger off the button)

aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa
aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa
aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa
aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa
aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa
aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa
aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa.

i think i will add that ability to my resume.

I got 49 WPM. About what I expected. I don't usually go for speed when I'm typing though.
