Hm, curious. With the release of the Mac App Store I have access to an abundance of software and games that enhance the experience of using my laptop, although the store seems to be devoid of any FaceBook related applications.

Good idea. Don't want people on WP to see your porn stash.

If you are using windows or linux, you press the printscreen button.

From there, if its windows, you would open paint, gimp, photoshop or whatever, and "paste as new image" or something like that.

OSX has a special key press sequence, but I do not recall it at this moment.

Do you have a host at which to place the image?

I don't think I've a host.

Well, paint or mspaint comes with windows. But its possible its not installed.

If you cant find ms paint on your machine...

paint.net (which is different from paint) from http://www.getpaint.net/ is free for you, or gimp from http://www.gimp.org/

For a host you can have dropbox. It is free. https://www.dropbox.com/referrals/NTM3M ... ab_global6. Using my referral link should get you an additional 250 megs of space, but you dont have to.

You'll move the image to the dropbox\public folder, and right click it. Select dropbox>get public link, and it will copy an url. Then paste that into your WP reply window by selecting the little mountain image left of the youtube button above and pressing control-v or right click paste.

The key sequence for OS X is Cmd+Shift+4.

Also, the printscreen key doesn't work if you're running Linux on a Mac. You have to use the screenshot utility provided by the OS.

Oh, and never use a paint program for bitmap graphics editing if you want to do anything complex; they're just not that powerful. Use Photoshop, GIMP, or some other full-featured graphics program.
