I think "Sweet Child O' Mine" is one of the most unbearably annoying songs ever. I remember when I was a kid, hearing this song for the first time after so many people were raving about how crazy and heavy it supposedly was, and I couldn't believe how absolutely whiny it actually was. Even the guitar itself sounds like it's crying.

Incidentally, it was also the first movie soundtrack composed and sequenced on a Fairlight CMI

I didn't check this out until now, but I actually love music like this. Looks like an interesting movie too, haha.

By all means do so, It's a movie who's 'wierd' factor is right up there with David Lynch's 'Eraserhead'. Also, it provides an interesting window on the early 80's New Wave/No Wave scene in New York similar to the window that 'Party Monster' portrayed of the descendant Club Kid scene of the late 80's early 90's.

I'd mush rather listen to music that uses more complex carefully thought out rhythms and subtle elements to build up the song more progressively.

Should of added this to the post too! I absolutely hate "Hip-pop" music (electronic pop) lady gaga, katy perry, ect The only form of electronic Music i hate! Only taking 5 minuted to write the lyrics!

Pretty much anything playing at Stop & Shop (where I work). The very worst ones I don't remember the lyrics to, but here are some other bad ones:

It's something unpredictable, but in the end it's right.
I hope you have the time of your life.
****Incredibly obnoxious violin solo****

I don't wanna be angry no more.
I don't wanna have to pay for this.
I don't wannanother lover at my door.
It's just another heartache on my miss.

Some daaaaaaaaaaaaay-ayyyyyyy-ayyyyyyy love will find meeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!
Aaaaaaaaah
Some daaaaaaaaaaaaay-ayyyyyyy-ayyyyyyy love will find meeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!

And I said "What about breakfast at Tiffany's?"
She said "I think I remember the film
And yes, as I recall, we both kind of liked it."
And I said "Well, that's one thing we've got."
(I had this song stuck in my head, so I looked it up on YouTube and listened to it.)

I've never heard any of Katy Perry's music (aside from "I Kissed a Girl", which wasn't that bad), but I agree about the other two. I hate Lady Gaga with a passion. She thinks she's some kind of sex goddess who is universally admired, when in reality she looks like Cher crossed with an alien and acts like a six year old on PCP.

As for Hip-Hop, I've heard way more than I would like, and I have to say that, aside from Disco, it's the only genre of music that I don't like anything from. I like some rock, some pop, rap, classical music, movie music, video game music, even a little bit of jazz, but even my open mind can not enjoy hip-hop. Rap is not as bad, because at least there's an element of culture to it, and there are some rappers who are actually pretty enjoyable to listen to (Eminem, Tupac, Afroman, and a couple others). But Hip-Hop is a hopeless case. T-Pain, Akon, and the Black-Eyed Peas all make my ears bleed.
