Computer/Video Games: Need Help?
Okay, next boss strategy!! !
Name: Revolver Ocelot
Game: Metal Gear Solid (Twin Snakes edition)
Brief Biography: The gunslinging, trash-talking old geezer who knows a hell of a lot of interrogation techniques (read torture), Ocelot is a competent fighter despite his age (at least 60 by the time of "The Twin Snakes"). Once a member of GRU, and then in Spetsnaz, he gained an infamous nickname due to his proficiency for torture, "Shalashaska", a nickname he has enjoyed since. His real name may be Adamska. For more details as to his early life, and how he gained such an affinity for revolvers, play "Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater".
Attacks: Nothing too fancy. He can shoot you with his Colt Single Action Army, even riccocheting the shots around corners if you hide. However, there is an added complication. You must confine your fight to the perimeter of the room, as the Armstech President, Kenneth Baker, is tied up to C4, and if you touch the wires, or use explosives (other than a stun grenade), he dies, and the fight is over. Be sure not to hit Baker with your shots either.
Effective strategies/weapons: The SOCOM or M9 are effective here. If you played the original version of MGS1, you know that Ocelot's weakness is the reload time for the revolver, so make him waste his shots. With "The Twin Snakes", you can also aim at him in First Person POV, and shoot him. Hitting him in the head is most effective. Use the shoulder buttons (the L and R triggers) to lean either way to get him in your sights. Stun grenades can help, but don't use anything else explosive.
Spoils of victory: After a long series of movies (including one involving a new character, and a rather staisfying injury to Ocelot), you will gain a Level 2 Key Card and a Data Disc from Baker. He will also give you a clue as to the location of Meryl's CODEC frequency: on the back of the package. In other words, on a screenshot on the back of the MGS:The Twin Snakes game package.
Easter eggs: Not really an easter egg, but Ocelot's taunts are different between versions. In the original game, after saying "hiding won't help you", Ocelot taunts "I understand the bullets, you see. I make them go where I want them to." In "The Twin Snakes", he taunts "A gun's power isn't in it's 'muzzle velocity' or it's 'caliber'". I prefer the first personally.
