I think most gamers have had similar experiences. I played Gun on Xbox 360 all morning (the game doesn't auto-save) and my Xbox froze without me having saved it. Savepoints could be hours apart on the original Xbox Enclave (the savepoints on the later PC and Gamecube versions were much more generous.) Then there was that time I built the best theme park ever on Theme Park on the Sega Saturn and had no way to save it.

My uncle brought a printer and when he brought it home it didn't seem to work, and he was fiddling at it for ages and ages, until finally he got so bad-tempered with it that he literally threw it out of the window. Yes, literally. And he's NT.

30 years of printer use and they have NEVER transcended the problems they have always had.

Only inkjets do that to me... My laser printer worked great when I still lived in Germany but its noise suffices to make me very angry.... OTOH, formatting the wrong partition or in earlier times working with Mac Os X did that to me.

I kind of had one, last week my Main Computer Tower form factor fried from a Electo static discharge through the front USB port and my screens went blank instantly. The main board would not POST and the main board I had was a hard to find one a AM2 motherboard with 4 PCI slots.

For printers the most stubbern one i had was a old panasonic dot matrix. I am all laser printers now I have a Laser printer black and white and no issues, it is hard to get working with linux but it works.

The wife bought a computer as a gift from wallmart with vista basic installed on it. I frustrated me to no end not being able to remove unused or unsubscribed programs in it. I was actually happy when it was struck by lightning so I could pull the mac out of retirement, good old osx.
