GOD! I used to have a lot of statistics, bibliographies, estimates(that were VERY close), be able to tell you angles in degrees, etc.... There were only a few times I tried(with 3-4 methods) to do date arithmatic in my head. I was never that great in math. Sad, but true. I was listening to alex's interview. Once, they offered to have ME skip grades. I didn't because I had ENOUGH trouble with peers my OWN physical age. For much of my youth, I really learned NOTHING outside of what I could somehow access MYSELF. NO thanks to school! I WANTED to take math and German earlier. If I had, things probably would have been very different.

Anyway, I decided several weeks ago to try to work towards getting back what I lost, and moving forward. Your post just gives me another little trick. 8-) THANKS!

Steve

(Reads topic)

I'm confused. Is the ability to figure out what day of the week a date falls on really common among Aspies? I've never met anyone who could do that.

And then Trogdor burninated Grymwulf's thatched roof... residence for trademarking his trademark phrase. Or something. It's late and I'm tired.

I understand the question...but I use a calendar. :P

Besides I'm not a person for maths, logarithms. :)

I can do that to some extent, I think, and I'm actually rather poor at maths, which surprises me.

Because I'm not a calender savant. Besides why would I learn that when I have cal? I generally fill my head with generally useful things. I don't tend to memorize things that I can just as easily look up.

I usually don't even know the date of today myself. I thought today was the 11th until I just looked at my calender.
