How about the old Timex-Sinclairs of the early 80s?

I'd love to get my hands on an IBM Thinkpad 850 or Thinkpad 860. They were RS6000 notebooks that sold for well over $10,000 US when new. PPC architecture running at either 100Mhz for the 850 and 166Mhz for the 860.

They are quite rare. Original OS choices were AIX, WinNT4, and OS2, of which AIX was the most popular. --Apparently Linux has been ported to these machines as well.
