Not a lot special. HP Pavilion laptop...2.3GHz P4, 256 MB RAM, 60 GB hard drive. CD-writer/DVD-ROM reader and integrated 802.11g. I run XP Pro. I'd love me a Vaio desktop, though.

I still have a 333 iMac, which I power up when I feel really nostalgic. Not even enough RAM to think about running OS X, much less install it.

Just collecting the parts for my new system I'm cobbling together :D

Asus P4S800D motherboard, sound and network card built in
1.7GHz Celeron, 400MHz FSB
3D Prophet FDX 8500LE, 64MB RAM (a bit dated, but far far better than what I have now)
512MB 400MHz DDR RAM
DVD-ROM and CDRW drives
My existing 20GB IDE 5400rpm hard disks x2, one running WinXP, the other Fedora Core 3.
500W PSU

Will probably end up having to get a new case when the motherboard arrives, this is a crappy micro ATX box so I'm hoping it fits. :x

From ghosthunter......

I like this, 2 mac users in a PC jungle. As you
may know I use a Wallstreet and plan to eventually
upgrade to a Pismo sometime this year, what kind
of PPC G3 Mac do you use? A Powerbook with
a external monitor, G4 tower, G3 type tower?,
obviously USB built-in since 1999's and above had
built-in USB.

Sincerely,

Ghosthunter

Wallstreet? Pismo? I have a G5 (dual 1.8 processors), purchased at the end of 2003, with a 20" Cinema Display.

U must have lots of money then! Throw some over here!

I've got a Lombard (as well as my ibook). It was my fave computer for a while and my first laptop. That series have a lot more style (the curvy black case) than the current laptops. It just got too noisy and it was second-hand anyway so I bought a (whisper quiet) ibook. The silence is wonderful

Wallstreet? Pismo? Lombard? I have no idea what any of these are. Are they nicknames for old Apple models?
