13 / 13 - no trick questions. None even remotely hard, for the science aficionado

13/13. The questions are so easy that I can't believe that 93% of the US public didn't answer all 13 questions correctly.

How do you score? I got 11 out of 13.

This is not a very difficult quiz.

I agree. Whats interesting though is that I scored better than 75% of the public. But in this forum, my score is on the low end. Thats doesn't say much for the "public".

If you are talking about the American public, you should know that over 60 percent of Americans do not accept the theory of evolution and 40 percent think the Earth is around 6000 years old. The American public is Churched and Numbskull.

You scored better than 75% of the public, below 15% and the same as 10%.

In my defence, I misread the fifth question.

Don't get too excited. That was not a very challenging test.

Let me say my piece, then I'll shut up. Evolution and Creationism can go hand in hand. The Book of Genesis says God created everything in seven days. There is no definition of how long the day or the night is defined in Genesis. There is a saying that a million years is but a day to The Lord. Think about it.

Think about the plants being created before the Sun ( that was on the 4 th day). Whatever became of photosynthesis.

Genesis is just the right speed for pre-scientific late bronze age dudes, who did not know stuff was made of atoms and thought striped and spotted sheep could be bred by showing whittled wooden sticks to the ewes.

Maybe things on earth can be explained through science and evolution, but we really never know how earth and the universe came about (originally). (I know the Big Bang Theory).

No, but the fact that I knew all that stuff on the spot is still odd. Then again, I love trivia like that. What saddens me is that apparently many people don't get that many questions right.
