Early indications are that many home computers currently in use won't run Vista at all, and around 90% of those that will, will run only the most basic new features. Vista corrupts iPods, runs even slower than Windows XP, and takes away more consumer rights than ever before.

Exactly why I hurried up and got my new PC with XP three weeks before Vista came out. No way in the world was I going to pay through the nose for the pile of crap that's Vista.

OSX is a form of Apple Mac.

Apple Mac is not an operating system. There's Mac OS and Mac System *, and Apple OSX.

Either way you need an Apple Mac to run OSX, I tried to stay as general as possible after all there are plenty of past Mac OS's, not to mention the upcoming Leopard.

Windows XP Pro on the desk top and Windows WP Home on the laptop. I've done quite a bit of tweaking on both particularly with the GUI. My laptop is wide screen so I've placed the taskbar on the right side of the screen instead of at the bottom. I also use TopDesk which is a nice Expose emulator for Windows. Expose is my favorite thing about OSX and now I have it on my PC for a small price. 8O
