I'm guilty. I was banned from Aspie Central after being harassed by a moderator for my NTness. After banning me he had several complaints from what I hear from people I'm still in contact with and he is no longer on the site. Just great for me and others who he also got away with banning from the site - now I can never go back and I greatly miss it. I'm still hurt by what happened and will probably never get over it. The moderator who banned me I actually considered a friend and even emailed him outside the site. I still can't believe it happened. I have pictures and emails from people I cared about that are linked to my user name and I'll never get to see them again. He abused his moderator position and was even known for banning members too much. The other moderators were too scared to stand up to him. Any moderator who wants to ban someone should seriously first think about how devastating it is to the person being banned before making a final decision. I didn't even get a month's ban as a warning which would have been more fair than a permanent ban. I don't think anyone should be permanently banned from any site - after all, people and situations can change just like in my situation.

Ever consider emailing the current mod(s) and telling them what happened? They just might reinstate you...

I was banned from Space Empires 5 Forum for posting a bug. Apparently it wasn't detailed enough, i guess. But i do not care, i stopped playing it and went on to other games that do not crash when you start them.

I was banned from bidding on eBay for 30 days after I filed a fraud complaint against Chinese_rose in Gilbert, Arizona for sending items in poorer condition than advertised and displayed. I guess at that time it was standard procedure for both parties to be cut off during a formal dispute. I ended up not buying from eBay anymore even after I was reinstated and Chinese_rose ended up "permanently" banned from selling following numerous other buyer complaints, when I then discovered she reincarnated herself as "poochie_Joe" something, but the site never seemed to care after I tried to inform them she was peddling her useless garbage again.

Banned from,

4chan IRC and Site

For: Trolling, threatening violence, flooding with pictures of spiderman, internal raiding, racism, sending an excessive number of ping request, ban evasion x10 and as a moderator put it, being the biggest pain in the *ss ever.

In my defense: Its 4chan, I have no defense, I did for the lulz.

Wrong Planet IRC

For: It was temporary banned cause the system thought I was spam.

In my defense: The whole thing was a misunderstanding, it was fixed.

Crazy fourms

For: Posting a comment that said that a forum named "crazy forum" might offend some. I was banned on the spot.

In my defense: The moderator I guess was crazy and couldn't see that I wasn't 100% serious, it was kinda just a laid back comment in passing.

Thats all that really comes to mind, I still post on 4chan using ban evasion tactics because its 4chan, who really cares but the rest I don't bother with. I normally don't go places I am not welcome but 4chan is an exception, I will not sleep until I destroy 4chan lol

Humanevents for some tirade about invading texas - it was long, detailed and closely resembled legitimate military strategy. They quit allowing commentary altogether about 3 mos later. Me arguing with about 300 hundred right wingers about invading texas and splitting the country in two because they always wanted to secede or something.

Slate.com for arguing with some aussie feminist (can't remember her name, but I'd know her if I saw it) and her crew that they are a bunch of sexist monsters, for which they proceeded to emasculate me by continually mocking the size of my penis. That of course is pretty sexist, so I sperged out for four days arguing with like one hundred feminists about female sexism, every once in a while I'd get some dude pop in and be like "hell yeah" and then some would say something horrible and I was like "dude you're disgusting" or whatev. Once I started bleeding over into different discussion topics I was mildly blocked from like editing and deleting my posts which completely drove me insane because I didn't check my email to see I had been blocked/warned. Eight hours later I was completely blocked, but at that point I checked my email and responded to the moderator that I had posted things that I would have edited and or deleted and wouldn't have been blocked if that hadn't been the case. He let me back in and I deleted like half a dozen posts and left posting forever.

I got banned from a similar site years ago for saying I cured my anxiety issues without use of any pharmaceutical drugs.

The universe is 4 dimensions, 1 time dimension+3 space dimensions.

However, some theories such as bosonic string theory suggests there are 25 dimensions of space and 1 dimension of time.

Hologram theory suggest space-time is 2 dimensional and perceived otherwise.

That comment cracked me up though, as it stands three dimensional Spacetime is the theory with an abundance of evidence so far.

It happened again. AC banned me a second time. I was being a good citizen too (went in under a different name and tried to even act different.) I don't know what they think is so wrong with me. Now I'm crying again because it's just so unfair. I was able to talk to a couple people again that I knew, but the place has gone deader than a door nail. It's not the same place it used to be. A lot of new people and most of the old ones are gone. Someone must have given me away. You just can't trust anyone. I don't need them anyway. I guess you guys are stuck with me.

I can't remember the names, it's been awhile.

I got banned from a Facebook page because I have Autism. The young women who runs the page is very judgemental and hateful, despite she doesn't post any hateful stuff.

She appears to be a kind person and someone who cares. She has sown her true colours to me. :(

This thread is about sites that have banned us in the past.

In the past I have been banned from four sites.
Newgrounds: I got banned when I was a teen and did some stuff I now regret. I was hormonally charged.
conservativesforum.com: Banned for telling the truth and smashing them on the head with reality.
vnnforum.com: Banned for telling the truth and calling them out on their BS ... again.
love-shy.com: Banned for "trolling" with logic a third time.

80% of love-shy.com should probably be banned. That page is full of passive-aggressive, sexist a-holes. I know because I had an account there when I was 19-20 and registered because I wanted to see if I could find any tips to better my situation.

On-topic: Diskusjon.no, for countering personal attacks with personal attacks -- and for disagreeing with some of the less diplomatic moderators (commonly referred to as "fanboys").
