I have an XP machine for some old games and things but would never connect it to the internet.

xp here in the hands of a moron, I like its format, I'm used to it, being aspi change fcks me up bigtime .... all I need is simple web access.

I just put an old 120GB SSD drive in mine. There is no bios setting for the boot drive, so I had to swap SATA ports to make it the boot drive.

I feel your pain. I can't stand it when programs I use on a regular basis undergo dramatic UI changes either. On that note, my grandmother on my dad's side has some mild aspie traits (though probably not enough for a diagnosis) and I remember she wouldn't stop complaining about Windows 8. Since I wasn't using it myself at the time, giving her tech support was a hassle. O_O

I wish. Nothing since has worked nearly as well for me. I'm about to give up on the whole GUI thing, and get back to my command line roots.

I have a couple of virtual machines with XP Professional on them for running old stuff.

I also got an old dev environment with NT4 somewhere :lol:
