When in doubt, ask an autistic. Chances are, they're obsessed with what you need to know.

I would love to get something different in my possession to tinker with it. I said that my dream computer would need a RISC-processor... (and modern PCs use CISC)

I want to build one of these.

Except replace the 2 gig / dual core / 250GB with 4 gig / quad core / 1TB. On each motherboard.

Games would need to be designed to benefit from that.

there is one out there: Crysis

I'm sorry but i dont see any indication that Crysis will run on distributed computing networks, nor linux of any flavour. Its purely a Windows game. The Miniwulf is Ubuntu Linux based and makes use of Gigabit lan cards to join the processors. You would need a specially designed game to make use of a lan in that fashion.

Hmmm... Dream computer? Would be something like the following:

Motherboard: Something with 4 (or more) sockets for processors.
Processor: 3.0GHz Quad core processor (4 of them to popultate the motherboard)
RAM: I can make do with 2 GB, but for a dream system, I'd have to say 8GB or more.
Hard drives: 9 1TB drives in a RAID5 array.

Think that covers everything... :P
