It has no wireless drivers for certain cards, but my PCMCIA card for example works just fine! Saying that it has no wireless support at all is stretching it very far.

Every distro I've used worked on my wireless right away, so long as the switch was on when I installed.

Atheros is most likely to be recognised.

I had no problems with the latest Ubuntu version, worked great with my Atheros chipset, so my wireless button even works on my laptop, I have a Compaq Presario 2570ca, and this is the first time I have gotten Ubuntu to actually work, on a laptop :D
I have been using Open Office for a couple of years now, I don't miss MS Office, although I do like Front Page
