It is irrational and doesn't have an end, but 100-200 decimal digits after dot are more than enough for any practical needs.

Oh no! You have to go a little further than that:

The string 999999 occurs at position 762 counting from the first digit after the decimal point. The 3. is not counted.

Planck's Constant is measured empirically, not derived a priori. Furthermore the resolution to which h (Planck's Constant) is know is dependent on the resolution of the measuring devices used. Pi on the other hand is deduced a priori, given the theorem of Pythagoras. One is a physical quantity, the other is purely mathematical.

Nope. Just the one. Maybe you are thinking about the illusive infinigon.


it is an odd derivation from the Archimedes method of exhaustion in determining the area of a circle, by inscribing and circumscribing two polygons in a circle and increasing the number of sides to infinity. It is sort of easy to understand why a person would think that means a circle has an infinite number of sides.
