I have a first generation iPod Classic 160GB (When they had Firewire charging) I also have two Generic MP3 Players that take up to a 2GB non-SDHC SD card, that you can either listen to with headphones or insert it in to a cassette player and it will play the music from the SD card to the play head in the Cassette Player.

I bought a 8 gb Zune that lasted a year . I like that you can make a playlist. What other mp3's will let you do that and is it better to buy one used or refurbished if you want to save money?
Just a simple Samsung with 2 GB of space. I would not want to lugg around a 500 GB harddrive-based mp3 player (and also wonder if the user has a clue about true capacity), and I've opted for a Sennheiser in-ear headphone. If I want to, I can even catch the news (FM tuner). What more do you need?

Just get a refurb iPod Nano.
This is the only thing a Zune is good for:

My Zune worked just fine until it just stopped suddenly after about a year. I know how to restart it so it's not that. I just think something I pay over a $100 for should last a little while.

I would disagree. Have you seen the New Zune HD? Looks pretty nice.
I have a samsung p2 great player kinda hard to get video on it though but the video quality is amazing!
The Zune HD is complete crap, the processor is nothing but the old ones Apple used to put in iPods years ago, and the OLED screen dosen't work in sunlight and will fade out within a few years - not that it matters, since the device itself will stop working way before then.

Zune HD actually uses Nvidia's Tegra great. Ipods are overrated with everyone being sheep and letting Apple charge practically any price.

The old zune was a worthless piece of Crap.
I agree about the old Zunes. iPods are definitely overrated and that's why I'm sticking to Cowon. They have everything including the kitchen sink at low prices compared to the iPods.
