Well, here is Puppy Linux "on a stick"! After re-booting and re-booting over and over again while changing my BIOS settings and getting no good result, it finally struck me to try a cold start ... and viola! So, now I will get Puppy for checking e-mail and that kind of stuff first-thing each day ...
... and by the end of today, I am pretty sure I will have a different operating system booting to use for each day of the week:
1st day - Puppy Linux
2nd day - Win2k
3rd day - Arch Linux
4th day - WinXP
5th day - Linux Mint
6th day - Win7
7th day - a nice-and-restful Win98!
Then, next week I will add my final drive -- no more room inside -- and probably begin with Fedora there.
