Safari is a disaster, it's crash prone, I seem to recall not liking the way it rendered certain things, you have to install Flash separately (sure Flash is garbage but if sites are still using it I need it), I don't like the menu or tab system, etc. The first thing I do on any Mac I set up is install Chrome.

It has not yet crashed on me. Chrome is pretty good too. Both are better than Firefox which has turned into Kristy Allie.

I found some things don't work in Opera, though it's been too long for me to recall what. I noticed on Linux if you launch a browser session just to view a document, the entire last-used session has to open with it. That can be inconvenient.

If I have to configure it, it's not convenient enough for me :)

I use Firefox. There's something seriously wrong with IE 8, certain things were causing it to crash all the time.

I prefer Firefox to any other version of explorers so far.

Google Chrome all the way for me. Its fast and has plenty of handy extensions.
Suits me!

Started using Firefox when it was in beta and barely touched anything else until last year as I had a handful of extensions I loved, when I tried Opera again. I prefer it now - quicker, more tweakable as standard, the only thing that irritates me is the keyring thingy for passwords - I had to download a password viewer so that I could view the passwords I had forgotten. Can't have everything I suppose. I rather like Rekonq as well, loads better than Konqueror was.

Would anyone use Microsoft Internet Explorer if it wouldn't be on your computer when you install a windows operating system?

IE is dead to me.

Firefox. It just works, and works well.

For a short while I used a firefox "Fork" called CometBird, but it was too late to update versions and not all the latest plugins worked.

I did grab many of the built in cometbird plugins though and shoved them in my firefox.

Pretty much anything other than IE, but Firefox is my main browser as it has the popup blocker, AdBlock Plus and other things.

I don't understand all the hatin' on IE. It seems kind of outdated. (the hatin', not the browser)

I don't HATE it, but it seems to crash too often and load too slow on google images, I prefer Chrome and FF.
