the process can be found somewhere else. I just remembered a similar place: 3d rendering. Watching little squares filling the screen (and later forming an image) is hipnotizing too (:
Too bad it's not constant.

BTW downloading torrents has block animation too (:

I love defragging hard drives. Particularly when they have loads of fragmentation - I love watching it rearrange the blocks to build up one large chunk of blue block!

Damn that fragmented MFT doesn't get defragmented either :(

It' beautiful experience. :flower:

Using diskeeper, but it seems to be stuck on 58% :? , but I guess it makes defraging last longer. 8)

I found a screensaver that mimics the old defrag screen, but it doesn't actually do a defrag. It's downloadable from CNET at download. cnet. com/Defrag-Screensaver/3000-2257_4-10882377.html (I don't have enough posts yet to have a link in my post).

Just curious, by WHY isn't there a JKDefrag screensaver? The only dilemma: the defrag process would be of no avail; if it's merely for entertainment the impact isn't quite the same. I have Vista.

There's already one in the package. You just need to copy the files to the Windows directory.

I've owned a few different PCs over the last 12 years and I've never done a defrag. Every time I checked, it said it didn't need doing.
