On a PC I prefer Internet Explorer and on the Android tablet I prefer the Dolphin HD browser for all its add-ons.

Firefox. Easy to use, has awesome add-ons. It is a nice name and an awesome logo.

I don't HATE it, but it seems to crash too often and load too slow on google images, I prefer Chrome and FF.

For the life of me I cannot figure out why you guys are reporting *any* crashes or slow loads in IE. You must have a malware plugin installed. The only thing fundamentally wrong with IE is its standards support issues.

Firefox was slow for a while, but I checked it out recently and either it isn't anymore, or computers have gotten fast enough.

I tried it recently, and I can't tell it apart from Firefox other than it's not Firefox and probably doesn't support FF plugins.

Chrome. Its fast, plenty of useful add on's, and its easy to customize. I also like having all my regular bookmarked websites below the url box for quick access. Firefox is my backup browser, its a close 2nd though, and was my regular browser for a period of time.

Chrome. It has support for an ad blocker addon that I like, and most importantly, it does synchronized bookmarks(*) and works on all operating systems that I use.

(*) I realize that this is now a feature of Firefox, and probably also Opera, but chrome did it first, and now all my stuff is in the google sync cloud, not the firefox or opera sync cloud

I looked it up and indeed Firefox has gotten pretty ballsy over the past few years. I don't see much difference between any of the browsers.

If it wasn't for Adblock plus, I would have changed for Chromium (OpenSource Chrome).
Firefox is bloated with useless features. It has been programmed without according any attention to memory usage. It often uses more than 200 MB, while you have two or three tabs opened. Chromium uses less than a quarter in the same conditions.
Except that, it works well, is compatible to the newest technologies and possess numerous extensions.

What they need now is to stop using flash and start using HTML5. This would permit faster loading on pages containing videos, animations and such. Adobe Flash is everything except optimized, fast, and light on system resources.

Really? The tests I've seen show FF using less memory than Chrome, I can't imagine Chromium is much more efficient than Chrome. With two or three tabs open Chrome should be using half a gig. I remember complaining about FF being bloatware about 3-4 years ago but last I checked they made some genuine improvements.

The only thing holding back developers from moving away from Flash is that there are too many users running older versions of IE. I wish MS would do automatic updates of IE by default like Chrome.
