I have just got rid of 4 computers just because they took up space and they were so crap I was probably losing years off my life due to stress when I used them.

My main computer custom built
2.4ghz P4
512mb DDR 333mhz ram
32mb Onboard graphics
40gb hard drive
Cd Writer 32x10x40
Computer runs Windows Xp Home
15inch Monitor Manufactured in 1997

My old craputer Digital PC 3000

333mhz Pentium II
128m SD 133mhz ram
3.6gb hard drive
No sound card
Computer crashes Windows 98
14 inch monitor Manufactered in 1992 max resolution 800x600
Going to put Mandrake 9.2 on this machine soon and just use this computer as my Linux toy

I really need to get some decent Monitors at some stage.

Not a lot special. HP Pavilion laptop...2.3GHz P4, 256 MB RAM, 60 GB hard drive. CD-writer/DVD-ROM reader and integrated 802.11g. I run XP Pro. I'd love me a Vaio desktop, though.

I still have a 333 iMac, which I power up when I feel really nostalgic. Not even enough RAM to think about running OS X, much less install it.

Update: no Vaio, and no more iMac either (friend's kids are gonna love it). Corporate loyalty set in when I got my refurb hp Media Center:

XP Media Center
3.2G Pentium 4
1 GB RAM
250 GB drive
DVD burner with LightScribe
DVD-ROM drive
Tuner Card
9-in-1 card reader
Removable drive bay
Remote control
hp 19" LCD monitor

Extra goodies to date:
Firefox/Thunderbird
Avast! AntiVirus
Trillian 3.1 Basic (talk to me, baby!)

I've been using a Dell Dimension 4100 for the last three years or so. I found it in the street! (complete with 17" monitor)

The previous owner was American. She bought it over from the US, plugged it into our supply - BANG! The PSU blew!

So she dumped it! Only 3 months old!

It cost me a tenner to get a new PSU. :P

CPU: AMD Athlon XP 2500+ (Locked mult. revision :( )
Motherboard: Biostar M7CND(?) (Socket A)
Memory: 512 MB Generic PC2700 RAM
Hard Drives: 80 GB and 40 GB Maxtors
Video Card: XFX nVidia GeForce 6600 GT (AGP, 128 MB DDR3)
Other stuff: Some LITE-ON DVD-RW drive.

The video card carries this baby on it's back. Poor thing. Mobo/CPU/Mem upgrade is on the schedule sometime in the next year.

Primary System:
P4 3.4 gHz
4 GB ram
250 GB sata150
nVidia Geforce 6800 ultra w/256m
19"&23" dual monitors.
2 really cool blacklights

dead system (motherboard fried, I have to move the HDs out)
P4 1.8 gHz
1 GB ram
nVidia Geforce 420MX w/64m
17" montor
No cool blacklights, bare frame.

Found 2 dell boxes in the trash, the boot up and work, but need more memory, CD/DVD drives, and larger hard drives, one is a PII and the other PIII.

I also have a crappy AMD box I threw toghether for $400, only 256m ram and onboard video.

I have a POS toshiba handheld that loses everything if the battery gets too low, and drains power when "off".

And the jewels of my collection 2 apple IIs, actually one of them could be considered an "Apple one", the original grey box, manufactured by bell and howell, before jobs and wosniack could build them themselves. I don't know if they work though, I need to find a monitor. Funny thing is that there are watches more powerful now.

I run windows based systems. It suits my needs for now. I'd like to have a different box running each major OS though. Each has it's pro's and cons. I'm still sad that the Commodore Amiga had to go out of business. It was so far ahead of it's time.

I have a really old 1Ghz Titanium PowerBook with a gig of RAM. Treated like crap and still ticking after four years.

It has a nice Hitachi drive which is really quiet. I'm currently booting off my backup FW drive though.
