Main desktop: Gateway P4 2.0 GHz (sold as a gaming rig - got it in swap for building this guy's new rig)
1 GB RAMBus
80 GB HDD
Some crappy Sound Blaster Live Gateway OEM card...
the crown jewel - A SGI (!) 20" CRT monitor.
running Fedora Core 4.

Fileserver:
custom-built off of a Antec server chassis
Duron 1.5 on a no-name motherboard - 512 MB PC2100 RAM
gigabit NIC
hard drives: 40 GB, 160 GB, 250 GB
has my laser printer hanging off it
running Debian.

My latest toy:
DEC Alphaserver 4100
4x 400 MHz EV5.6 Alpha processors
2 GB RAM
14x 4 GB SCSI hot-swap drives in two removeable racks
2x Fiber Channel cards
needs a power supply to get the other two processors operational
got Debian running on it as a test - still in process of re-purposing as a web/database server

other toys:
IBM RS/6000 - ancient MCA-bus monster that I still can't get running - need an AIX boot tape for it :)
Sun SparcStation/20 : dual 60 MHz processors - quad ethernet SBus card - nice router
various P2's and P3's in stages of repair

My main computer:
- Gigabyte Mobo with on-board sound and LAN
- Celeron @ 1.7GHz
- 512MB DDR-RAM
- 80GB Hitachi IDE hard drive
- Samsung CD-R/DVD Combo, 52/24/52/16
- Radeon 9800 with 128MB RAM
- Runs Windows XP Pro
- Built by my old man for my use (hard drive and burner are mine!)

My muck-around computer:
- Some obscure AT motherboard
- Intel Pentium-S @ 200MHz
- 96MB EDO RAM (6 x 32MB)
- 1.0GB Quantum Fireball Hard drive
- 1.2GB WD Caviar hard drive
- 40x Sony CD-ROM
- S3 Graphics card with 1MB RAM
- Runs Redhat Linux 7.0 with kernel 2.2.16 - in the process of compiling kernel 2.6.13 for it
- Purchased at an auction and added some parts to it

Another computer I have which I broke and no longer works:
- MSi MS5187 motherboard, with non-functioning BIOS as a result of a botched update
- AMD K6-III @ 450MHz
- 128 MB SD-RAM which only registers as 64MB cos the chip is incompatible with the board :@
- 850MB hard drive which is in fact dead and due for replacement
- 8x Sony CD-ROM
- Onboard video @ 8MB RAM
- Being dead, runs nothing!
- Made up of parts purchased off eBay and a computer my mum let me have that's the leftover bits of an upgrade.

That's all the ones I have (so far!).

Wow, your PC sucks but your laptop is nice. Get another 512 of ram for that baby and you should be doing real fine.
