Just wondering if their are any other programmers on here. I have learned c++ up to basic 2d graphics with SDL and such things, though I have not coded for awhile. Just wondering if anyone coded actively.

Java- used it a lot at uni
C- I can do recursion and pointers, but haven't worked on anything really big
Assembler- on old processors eg. Z80/6502, mostly homebrew systems

I make 3d OpenGL games in C++ for fun but I rarely show the product of my hobby.

Another embedded coder here. Currently working on a cross-platform robotics project targeting a Linux-based and Atom-based card.

Note that C++ is a language, while SDL is a library. SDL has bindings for many languages:

I've been coding in c++ for close to ten years. I learned Java first, but I prefer to use C# when given the choice. c++ is pretty low on my list of favorite languages, actually. I'm currently trying to finish up my PhD in computer science. I've done work in bioinformatics, data mining, graphics, and eye tracking.

I've coded in C++ but mostly just for numerical work.

There was a time a decade or two back when I built 3d visualisations out of OpenGL and SG C++, but I've had no call for it since.

Java, Perl and now XQuery have been my bread and butter since then.

C++ coder working on a combat sim here, sadly because I'm working on Visual Basic in school, my code usually turns out to be half VB half C++.
